The ExpressJet contract became amendable at the end of July 2010. A section 6 letter has been sent by the IAM&AW to ExpressJet notifying the company of the amendable date and the company has responded in agreement to begin negotiations. The contract proposals that were submitted for months by the membership have been sorted and are to be reviewed when the negotiation committee (consisting of: Kate Romanausky (IAH), Randy Hatfield (CLE), Nicole Washington-Fears(CLE), Michael Becerra (EWR), Dana Freemont (IAH), and Lisa Kelley (ORD) come together August 8, 2010 at the IAM & AW's William W. Winpisinger Education & Technology Center in Maryland for extensive negotiation training and strategy planning sessions. Look for more updates in the upcoming editions of Flight Line, as-well-as at our monthly business meetings held the second Tuesday of every month at at 3pm at the Newark Airport Renaissance Hotel.
