Negotiations began in Houston, Texas, on October 4th and 5th, 2010.

Discussions centered on Sections 16 – Personnel Files, Section17 – Investigations and Section 21- Non-Flying Duties.  Both parties exchanged  proposals regarding each section. Although progress was achieved, there are still many areas to be addressed.

Despite the unknown factors inherent to the upcoming acquisition/merger, your committee will continue to focus on obtaining the goals and addressing the concerns expressed by the membership.

Negotiations will continue in Houston on October 19th and 20th, 2010.

On October 15th, 2010, President Directing General Chairperson Tom Higginbotham and General Chairpersons Kate Romanausky and Randy Hatfield will meet with ASA President Brad Holt and Inflight Vice President Brandee Reynolds, in Atlanta, GA.  We look forward to a informative and productive visit.
